It belongs to the three most powerful tug boats worldwide and is propelled by gas-safe engines from MTU with a total power output of 17,200 kilowatts.

Learn more about the numerous applications of our distributed energy systems by looking at concrete examples of their use worldwide - for example, in "The Charité" in Berlin, Europe's biggest university hospital. Since July 2010, two MTU Onsite Energy emergency gensets with a total power output of 1,700 kVA have been ensuring that hospital operations in the northern part of the "Charité Mitte" campus in Berlin will continue running smoothly in the event of a power outage.
