Rolls-Royce supports power-to-X initiative in Brandenburg: Dr. Petar Pelemis (left), member of the executive leadership group of Rolls-Royce and head of strategy and product management of the business unit Power Systems, handed over together with Brandenburg’s Minister President Dietmar Woidke (second from left) a letter of intent for the production of synthetic fuels to the Federal Minister for the Environment Svenja Schulze (right). In the letter of intent, industrial companies like Rolls-Royce, the State Government of Brandenburg and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) support the activities of Brandenburg’s University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg in the production of synthetic fuels. The intention is to set up a power-to-x competence center and to construct a demonstration plant. Part of the signatories was also the Lufthansa-Group, represented by Kay Lindemann (second from left).
