84 apprentices and sandwich course students start their training at Rolls-Royce in Friedrichshafen. Industrial mechanics and mechatronics technicians are particularly popular. Mechanical engineering, automation technology and electrical engineering are also in demand. As a provider of integrated solutions, Rolls-Royce trains IT specialists and IT students for the first time in its own company to provide the necessary skills for information technology. This year, the apprentices will start their careers in a total of 18 different areas.

Rolls-Royce's MTU Environmental Foundation supports the Biology Department at University of Konstanz in its research of the Burgundy blood algae in Lake Constance.
