  • Erik Manning to become the injection system manufacturer’s new CEO

Stuttgart – September 1,  2016. Over the last 10 years, L'Orange has experienced very strong growth worldwide. And today, with over 1,000 employees, the injection system manufacturer ranks among the sector’s driving forces and technology leaders. The highest quality standards and comprehensive expertise are the cornerstones for its growth. This development is set to continue over the course of the company’s succession plan with a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Effective September 1, 2016, Erik Manning will be taking over the position of CEO of the L’Orange GmbH, with its headquarters in Stuttgart and seven other locations worldwide. The 54-year-old succeeds Dr. Ralph-Michael Schmidt, who will be retiring. Dr. Schmidt was employed at L’Orange for over 11 years.

With Erik Manning, yet another industry expert will be taking over the helm. He has many years of experience in the mechanical engineering sector and has been working in various positions at L'Orange’s parent company – Rolls-Royce Power Systems – for more than 25 years. Most recently, he served as Vice President Purchasing and Program Manager of group-wide projects for RRPS.

“I am very much looking forward to this new challenge and to working with the L’Orange GmbH team,” says Erik Manning. “We have defined ambitious objectives for the future and we will be further optimizing our service and quality standards. Our customers’ satisfaction is top priority for us. And that is something we will only achieve together.”
